All done on 11"×14" Bristol board (Strathmore's 300 Series).

 

	Red Raven: Miramah August 2003 Her persona lives in Istanbul, 1520. Elspeth did all of the illumination. This is my second scroll using what I call pseudo-Arabic script. The first I did last year for her daughter. Note the big difference in style... Since then, she has chosen to be called Miramah bint Ibrahim. Medium-size (74k), Large-size (183k)
	Baron's Prize List Winner September 2003 An attempt at something simple, elegant, and quick. I think it's a bit short on elegancy. The winner of the day was Warder Cameron. Cam received another scroll because Signora Serena had already done one. Medium-size (40k), Large-size (91k)

 

The margins are cropped so that the image fits nicely on a typical 8.5×11" scanner.
