FAVORABLE

Φ AEth. ~ Scottie Armoury when they were in buisness, because they had absolutely gorgous toys.

Φ Aten. ~ Scottie when he was up and running.  ``Lann-Valdis

Φ Aten. ~ Malcolm the Scot. Because he makes quality blades. (Since he's gotten out of the business, I will probably go with James the Just as he is local.)  ``Bethia

Φ Atl. ~ Scottie Armory - beautiful weapons not overpriced. Wish his website still existed.

Φ Caid ~ And yes, the one you're thinking about is out of business. Sure wish I'd gotten one of his daggers, though.  ``David

Φ East ~ I own a sword of his that is great but I think he's out of business.

Φ Mer. ~ Used to like Scottie, but he's disappeared.

Early in the survey, after receiving several of the responses below, I added more text to this question:
"If they're out of business, there's no need to list them."

Perhaps a week later, I changed that to "there's really no need to list them."

Φ Scottie Armory -- sold my partner a bad blade and wouldn't replace it. (The blade kinked and could not be repaired.) Said he only warranted schlager blades against breakage. Come on, now, how often do schlagers really break? He was also quite rude during the whole thing.  ``Juana

Φ Malcom. Never recieved ordersthat were half or fully paid. Not sure if he is still in business but still get messages from people around the country looking for him. Most trying to get ordered equipment.

Φ Waited far too long, and was given too many [meadow muffin] delivery dates for a Scotty dagger blade. There's no pint in ordering from someone if it might take them untold months to deliver.  ``Todde

Φ HORRIBLE experience with Scotty Armory. Had to threaten to sue to get a rig I had ordered.

Φ Scotty - Did not redress a faulty blade. Instead blamed it on the customer.  ``Christian

Φ Scotty Armory - their blades are junk and they don't stand by their warranty. Let the buyer *really* beware.
