This two-page directory has prices, policies, and links to the Web sites for companies that sell equipment for SCA fencing. Launched on 31 May 2001.

This is page 2. These suppliers do not sell or resell rapiers for SCA fencing. However, they have other stuff that's useful to us.

If your company makes products for SCA fencing like those listed here and you have an established Web site for the company and you can show me that you're either in the SCA or know how to support us, I'll consider reviewing your site for possible addition to this directory.

Front matter

About the s-word

By my understanding, schläger is the correct term, though schlaeger may be appropriate too. The G sound is hard as in guy or girl. Reasonable pronuniciations are 'shlayger' and 'shleger'. The widely-used "shlagger" pronunciation is not correct.

If épée fencing is your thing, here are some companies that have stuff for you. For those of us using heavier blades (schläger, rapier), they also have masks, mask testers, and chest protection for men and women.

They also sell other things I don't list that we could wear underneath like plastrons for underarm protection, jackets, knickers, modern gloves and that cool, almost always black coach's/master's protective gear for the torso, arms, and legs.
