This is page 1. The suppliers below sell schläger and rapier blades and many other items for our style of fencing.

For more suppliers, see page 2. The suppliers on that page sell wooden wasters and staves, sword hangers, shields, and more... but no rapier or dagger blades.

Front matter

About the s-word

By my understanding, schläger is the correct term, though schlaeger may be appropriate too. The G sound is hard as in guy or girl. Reasonable pronuniciations are 'shlayger' and 'shleger'.

I searched for something similar (back in 2001) and didn't find anything as detailed or current as I wanted. If you find a better list, I'd like to see it.

How often is it updated?

In recent years, about every 6-18 months.

Listings removed from this page in the past

Black Rose Creations, Captain Thorne's Armory, Linen Armor Mercantile Company, Popinjay's, Santelli, Scottie Armory, Swordmark. MAS Weapons was gone (I think) before this list was first posted.
