The South Downs Order of Chivalry and

Membership to these local orders is bestowed, respectively, by the ladies and lords of the Barony of the South Downs (Atlanta GA) in the SCA Kingdom of Meridies.
For many years, the ladies of the South Downs have met annually to recognize one or more gentlemen for their chivalry.
Starting some eight years(!) after the ladies had the idea, the gentlemen of the Barony have met annually to choose one lady from the Barony or its Cantons for similar recognition.
